Trees: Broken Branches Wins Best Film
A Note from the Desk of Lisa Maydwell:
I traveled to Lithuania June 19th to participate in the Summer Media Studios film making class/workshop. This turned out to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. There were 45 participants divided into seven teams. I pitched Broken Branches, an episode that was inspired by my friend and coworker Krissy Langley and written by yours truly. We had seven days to make the short film. My team won Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Film. Our next steps will be submitting to film festivals in America and around the world.
